I fell in love with photography on my first photoshoot with my sister back in 2010, and I haven’t stopped chasing moments of magic since. I’m obsessed with the ocean, whales, and stingrays, basically, anything water, and my heart beats a little faster under the auroras or when I’m soaking in the light of the sun and moon (a total Cancer thing, I know). I live for love, adventure, and connection, and I share my life with my adventure partner, Ryan, and our two pups, Lenny and Taya.

As an artist and a creative, I’m constantly inspired by the world around me, and I love using that inspiration to create something meaningful. My body even tells part of my story, tattooed with my own art and the art of others, each piece representing who I am and what I love. I’m a mix of funk and spice, your ultimate hype girl, and the best third wheel you could ask for! I thrive in the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, or soaking in nature’s beauty, and I love weaving those elements into every session. Whether you’re eloping on a mountaintop or sharing a quiet moment by the water, I’ll be there to cheer you on, capture your story with artistry, and make sure your love shines in every frame.

WAY NORTH STUDIO

Our newly opened photo and video studio is right here in Marquette, MI! As a creative duo passionate about capturing stories, we’ve poured our hearts into renovating this space throughout 2023, making it a hub for artistic expression and connection. Being part of the SOMA community has been an incredible experience, and we love sharing our walls with other local artists while showcasing our craft. Our studio is more than just a workspace; it’s a platform for creating meaningful portraits, dynamic marketing content, and so much more.

The name Way North Studio reflects our journey and where we call home, further north than 50% of Canada, nestled in a place that draws adventurers and dreamers alike. We believe heading north is more than a direction; it’s a mindset, a journey filled with discovery and unforgettable moments. Having this space allows us to grow our business, collaborate with our community, and help clients celebrate their own journeys. After all, “we’re all on a journey, and ours is north.”
